Amdocs visited our campus for a recruitment drive, providing an exciting opportunity for students to showcase their skills and secure positions in their esteemed organization
Round 1 (Coding round):
This round was held on HackerRank. There were 64 MCQ questions on DSA, OS, DBMS, OOP, Linux, QA ,VARC,LR concepts for 2 marks each along with 2 coding questions for 25 marks each. The participants were asked to keep their webcams on. More than 100 people appeared for this round. This round was of 200min. Before Coding Round they took priority of coding language they gave 3 options C/C++ ,JAVA and Python. Based on our selection of coding language they sent us the online assessment on our personal email-id.
Round 2 (Integrity Test):
This test was to check your loyalty to the company and to analyze your personality. This test was elimination for many students.
From these 2 rounds, 24 students were selected. Technical and HR rounds were virtual.
Round 3 (Technical Interview) (45 min):
The interview platform was Hackerrank.
My interviewer was so friendly. He calmed me down first later he started with questions
1. Tell me about yourself.
2. He asked me 2 output based questions which were on exception handling, and array(I selected JAVA while online assessment so he gave me code on Java so select the coding language wisely)
3. he gave me a question on SQL
4. then he asked about DBMS questions like normalization, ACID properties
5. He asked me Linux commands
6. He asked me 2-3 situational questions
7. why do you want to join Amdocs
He asked me if I had questions I could then I asked him 2-3 questions. He was so satisfied by my interview and I asked him feedback of the interview then he told me you are so good at everything. Till joining revise all the concepts again don't forget it.
After 2 hrs I received the HR interview link
Round 4(HR Interview): 10-15min
1. tell me about yourself
2. she asked me who was the interviewer I told her his name. (my previous interviewer was the senior manager in the company so she didn't go in that deep)
3. she asked me are you okay with Pune location
4. asked about my academic background and family background
5. lastly she asked will parents support you to relocate to Pune
After 2-3 hrs we got the message from TPO. Out of 24 , 7 were selected and I was 1 of them.
Tips:
1.Be clear with CS fundamentals.
2.Be confident.
3.Try to communicate as much as possible.
